Baseballs Advice
Baseballs tend to be split into two categories - game and practice.
Game Balls - a game ball is usually a model made with a genuine leather cover. A leather cover offers a more secure grip, consistent play, and proven durability. Leather is generally categorised with different qualities. In the case of Baden this is reflected in the 1B, 2B and 3B grades - with 3B being the highest grade of leather available and used in most leagues in the UK
Practice Balls - a practice ball tends to have a synthetic leather cover as a more cost-effective option compared to leather models. A synthetic cover is usually made of vinyl to help resist dirt and maintain its colour. Practice balls also include Safety and Soft-core centre balls ideally suited to younger players.
